June to-do list

'Can you believe we're half way through the year already?!'

I've seen these kind of blog posts floating around for a long time and I've always wanted to do one, but by the time I remember to it we're already half way through my month. So, now that I've actually found myself prepared for once, here is my June to-do list (side note: can you believe we're half way through the year already?!).

1. Buy anniversary card and present for Jack
June marks 1 year since me and Jack got married and 10 years of us being together, mad! So I need to a special anniversary a card and some kind of paper present, as the traditional gift for one year of marriage is paper.

2. Book our train tickets to London for our anniversary
As much as we would love to jet off abroad somewhere hot we just can't afford it this year, so we have decided to spend the day in London, something which we really don't do enough. We're even using one of our wedding gifts which is a 5 course meal with wine at the Merchants Tavern - very excited for that!

3. Buy my Nan's 80th birthday card and present
This year it's my Nan's 80th birthday so despite my Nan not liking a fuss I want to get her something special and spend the day with her making her laugh and making memories.

4. Workout 3-4 times per week
This is something I have been getting into in the tail end of May and something which I'm keen to upkeep. I have put on a little bit of weight since working in an office, something which I'm sure fellow office workers will know all about, so I'm making sure that I'm staying active and getting back down to my ideal size.

5. Weekly food shops
Something which me and Jack always vow to do but tend to slip out of quite easily, but not this month. Along with exercising 3-4 times per week I want to get my nutrition back to a good place by using some healthy recipe's that I was using last year in the run up to our wedding. They worked wonders on my stomach which is my troublesome area so I'm keen to get back into the swing of things!

6. Chilli and Cheese festival in Bournemouth
We have our good friend, Roxanne, down early June and it falls on the weekend of the Chilli and Cheese festival in Bournemouth which we thought would be really fun to go to. My Dad also lives in Bournemouth so it will be lovely to meet up with him there and spend time with both friends and family.

7. Clear out the studio
So a couple of months ago I pretty much gutted out half of the house, giving loads to charity and also binning a load of things that we really don't need. One area that was left was our studio on the top floor of our house so I really want to get in there and do the same as I know there is a lot of stuff in there that we really don't need.

So that is my little June to-do list which, fingers crossed, I will be able to complete! Do you have anything that really needs doing this month? I'd love to know what is on your to do list :)
