'So far this year
has been full of fresh starts'
I hate that it has been so long since my last blog post, but truth be told life has been pretty hectic! Since my last blog post in late January I had an interview for a job, a second interview five days later, and then I actually started the job two days after that! As you can imagine I have been settling into the role and getting used to the way things work etc, not only that but I've basically been promoted to a bigger store after working there for just two weeks!! So it's all been a lot to take in, but I am looking to work my way up, and it seems to be happening quicker than I thought!
After a long, hard think I decided to get myself back into retail so that me and Jack had some extra money to pay for the wedding and start saving for a house after that. I was very wary about going back into retail to begin with as I felt that I had 'been there done that', and not to mention that fact that I loved working Monday-Friday in an office, but it seemed like a good way to ease myself back into work again and this time I felt like it was different.
We all know my passion and love lies within fashion and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life doing anything else! I want a career within high-street fashion, and the dream is to eventually work in head office either in styling, store layouts or social media, but of course I have to start at the bottom and work my way up, and I'm totally okay with that.

So far this year has been full of fresh starts for me and I could not be more grateful. It's crazy to think that this time last year I was made redundant from one of the best companies I have ever worked for, and a few months after that I was made redundant again! It's funny how life pans out and a lot changes in a year, but I'm looking forward to the future whilst concentrating on the present.
Have you been going through a lot of changes this year already? I feel like 2017 has already been a massive turning point for a lot of people, and long may it continue!
