Banish the Blues

'Yep, that's right, I've got the January blues...'

So I planned to write this post a few weeks ago, before we'd even reached the new year. I was going to give you guys (and myself) some tips on beating those January blues and making sure you have a great year from the get go, but then the blues got me...

Yep, that's right, I have got the January blues, and after two weeks I have finally come to realise this. I'm not quite sure how it even happened, I guess I just couldn't shift that time in-between Christmas and New Years Eve when you feel lost and confused about what day it is but it doesn't matter because you're still allowed to be in 'lazy mode'.

Don't get me wrong, I haven't been completely lazy as I've actually managed to workout 4 times per week and I'm starting to eat healthier. I've kept up with the housework, sent various emails regarding the wedding and Jack's tax (all the lovely 'life admin' jobs), and even designed, printed and sent out our wedding invitations, but for some reason I've not been able to shift this sluggish feeling, and worst of all I've not been able to get back into blogging/YouTube.

Now that I've finally managed to cotton on to what's been happening with my emotions recently I'm hoping that I'll be able to shift it before the second month of 2017 hits (that's right, the second month, February, already?!!). I guess it also doesn't help that the weather seems to be constantly gloomy here in the UK and when we do get a sunny day Jack's working so there's no one to take photos of my outfits #bloggerproblems! Anyway, enough of the moping and the moaning, it's time to get back to it and just take the best possible photos I can, with a camera that seems to be playing up on me recently (anyone want to buy me a new one?).

Have you been burdened with the January blues this year? Let's turn it around together and get back on track! Remember to stay active, socialise and never stop working towards your dreams (more on this in a post coming soon!).
