I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

 'Baby, it's cold outside...'

This Christmas marks the first year of me and Jack living away from the sea. We both grew up living a 5 minute walk from the water and recently moved further inland this year for Jack's work. We absolutely love living here but I must say I do miss the sea, and that's not just because it's a great place to go when you need to clear your head, it is SO much colder here!! You'd think living by the sea would make it colder what with the constant breeze, but oh no, it's much warmer living close to the water!

It's been so cold up here in Salisbury that I keep wishing for it to snow in time for Christmas. I mean, how amazing would it be to wake up on Christmas day to see a sheet of snow covering the garden, the feathering of white dusting the tree tops, and little paw prints sunken into the soft snow from my cats? Alas, I can dream!

Hat & Coat: New Look  //  Dress: Dahlia  //  Bag: Gift  //  Boots: Primark

In honour of my recent thoughts about wanting it to snow, I thought I'd wear my white smock dress that I actually wore at mine and Jack's engagement party last year. I still lust over this dress now, which I picked up on Dahlia's website in the sale for £25! I was so pleased with myself. I think it works perfectly with this soft pink coat and fur hat for the ultimate cosy Winter outfit!

You'll have to excuse my hair for a while as I'm in the process of getting rid of the ombre and going fully natural and brunette again. I loved the ombre but I want my natural locks back in time for our wedding (which is fast approaching!), so I thought I'd start now.

Is anyone else wishing for snow this year, or is it just me? I know some people hate it, and after a while I can see why, but just a little snow this Christmas would make me smile!
