'Trust the magic of new beginnings'
Hey strangers! I can't quite believe I haven't been near my blog since June! Well, I guess I kind of can because this is me we're talking about and we all know how flaky I am with blogging! Well, I'm back. I'm not sure how long for, but I'm back for now.
Over the past couple of days I have been pondering blogging again now that I have more time on my hands. You see, a lot has changed since June and I now work for myself from home - something which I have always wanted to do. But now my evenings are free, and more importantly stress-free, I figured it might be a good time to blog again, after all this has always been a hobby of mine, a little piece of the internet just for me and my thoughts.
The first week of October I picked up my camera and just decided to vlog my week. I didn't actually publish it on my YouTube channel in the end as I thought it was a little too lengthy, but I tried again the week after and was a lot more happy with how it turned out only filming 3 days. It went live yesterday so you can check it out here.
So here we are getting back into the swing of blogging again too! Working from home and being on your own most of the time does have its downfalls as it can be rather tempting to sit on social media or watch YouTube videos, or finally jump on the bandwagon and binge watch Stranger Things in two days (I could have definitely watched it in one but, thankfully, I refrained myself). I figured that maybe vlogging my week would help me gage an idea of how much work I actually do in a day, and hopefully make me work harder to show you guys what I've been up to.

We'll see how it goes, I'm certainly not making any promises! But I do tend to see Autumn as a bit of a fresh start, a new beginning if you will. As the season changes and the cold air sets in I can't help but feel warm inside thinking about what the final part of the year brings - the different coloured leaves edging the streets, the crisp morning sun on a chilly Autumn day, the excitement of Halloween just around the corner, and the countdown to Christmas just spells out love, laughter, and family.
So, this is me, attempting my blog again for the 302846th time. Maybe see you soon.
