HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

I kind of can’t believe that 2016 is here already…I mean, 2015 has flown by, but I’m happy to say it has been a good year all round!

I moved departments in my job and I am now in a much happier place, and in hand with that comes an award I won at the end of 2015 for being Employee of the Year in my team, so that made me super proud! Myself and Jack also got engaged in Paris at the end of June which was a complete surprise, but after 7 years of being together it was the perfect time and place for it to happen! We had an engagement party in September and it was just an amazing evening being surrounded by close friends and family to celebrate. I also finally managed to visit my best friends since they moved away, one of which now lives in Scotland and the other in Germany!! I had an amazing time both weekends and will definitely be going back this year to see more of the cities they now live in.


My hopes for this year mainly consist of being happy, healthy and full of fun times surrounded by my friends and family. As the years have passed I really cherish my time spent with friends and family as I feel life is too short to waste – we have one life so let’s live it and create great memories to look back on!!

Most of the year will be dedicated to planning mine and Jack’s wedding (it still doesn’t quite feel real yet!) and most of it I will share with you on my blog and potentially my YouTube channel, but for now you can check out my ‘Fairytale’ board on Pinterest to get a feel of what I’m going for. I just cannot wait to find the perfect venue and book it, once that is done I think I will feel a lot more settled about it all! If anyone knows of any good wedding blogs or you have one yourself please leave the link in the comments as I would love to read them!


As far as ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ go, I don’t really have much I want to commit to as I am rubbish at sticking to things (you all know that from my blogging skills!). This year my main focus will be to eat healthier and exercise at least 3 times a week. Now I know this is something people always say they will do and they stop after a month (if that!) but I have never had this as a New Year’s Resolution before and this year I just feel like it’s my turn to give it go so, wish me luck!
