Glossy Box // July

Hello all! This month's Glossy Box arrived last week and I just had to share it with you! I'm not sure yet if I'll share every month's Glossy Boxes with you (unless you want me to?) but this one was a special Parisian edition and definitely the best Glossy Box I have received yet!! Not only is it pretty ironic as me and Jack got engaged in Paris 3 weeks ago, but it also came with the best products!

This month includes perfume, enhancing skin care serum, lip balm, night cream and a make up back/wash bag and I love every single item! Usually with Glossy Box there's atleast one item that I'm not as keen on, but not this time! Even with the make up bag not being an product you can try it's still so pretty, functional and I needed a new make up bag so perfect timing!

The lip balm is so silky smooth and doesn't leave your lips feeling greasy as it really soaks into your lips to treat them, and the packaging is super cute! The night cream is great as it goes such a long way so I can see this lasting me a while despite it looking rather small. The perfume is a beautiful floral, musky smell which will be great to carry in my handbag for a midday spritz, and lastly is the enhancing skin care serum which I am yet to use but it says you put it on before you moisturize so I'll be sure to use that tomorrow morning before work.

If you have ever thought about subscribing to a Glossy Box then I would definitely recommend it! You spend £13.25, including p&p, and get £30 worth of products to try. There is always something new and exciting and most of the time I haven't even heard of the brands so it's a great way to broaden your knowledge of products without paying the full price!

The great thing is that there is no contract, you aren't tied in, so if you feel as though you can't afford it anymore or just simply don't want it anymore then you can just cancel the direct debit! For anyone who is interested in having a look then you can use this link and if you did want me to blog about Glossy Box monthly then let me know :)

Which product would you like to try most?

Hello lovelies, so as you may know I have been a firm fan of Pinterest for about 4 years now since I first heard about it in university. For those of you who don't know (where have you been?!) Pinterest is an amazing space for you to grab all of your online inspiration and put them into their own folders for you to keep and refer back to when you need it. You can also upload your own images for people to 'Pin' to their boards.

I have had my 'F A I R Y T A L E' board for about a year and this board is basically a place for me to store all of my inspiration for my future wedding. Whether it be the brides dress, the bridesmaid dresses, the table pieces or even the groomsmen's cuff-links, it's all there! Now this isn't something that is a 'this is exactly how I want it, everything must look like this' kind of thing, it's just an idea of what I like, what I think works and possible ideas for my wedding, and now that I am actually engaged (!!! still thinking I'll wake up soon!) I actually have and excuse to add more to it and refer back to it and just generally use it, so I thought I would share with you some of my fav images from this board so far.

If you want to see the board in all it's glory then just click this link, and let me tell you there is a lot to see!!

Daisy Haze

Kimono: F&F Clothing (Tesco)  //  Playsuit: New Look (years ago!)  //  Shoes: F&F Clothing (Tesco)

Hey sweets! I couldn't help but share these amazing items that I bought from Tesco at the weekend! I never really think of looking at the clothes in Tesco as I always think they'll be basic pieces, but when Jack was looking for a hoodie the other day I thought I'd have a little browse when I came across these shoes quickly followed by the lace kimono.

I have been looking for a pair of black shoes to replace my beloved New Look Limited Edition ones which I've had a few years and literally worn to death! So when I came across these I felt I'd finally found a pair that would go with every outfit and take the place of my old ones nicely. Soon after I came across this lace waistcoat kimono which I instantly fell in love with! I love the lace, the tassels, and the fact that it's cream means it will go with any colour! Both pieces came in at just £18 each - such a bargain!

Seeing as the weather has been so lovely and warm recently I instantly felt drawn to pairing my two new items with my daisy print playsuit which I actually bought from the kids section years ago! This playsuit is just such an easy, staple piece in the summer, it's great to be able to pair it with some items that make it a little more stylish whilst still keeping me cool in the heat.

Hello lovelies! This post is actually a little overdue as I didn't manage to blog through the week last week but, from Friday 26th me and Jack went to Paris for our 7 year anniversary!! I was a bit apprehensive whether we would be able to afford it or not as Jack has recently changed jobs, but boy was he determined that we were going! Luckily we managed to save enough money in time and it was the best weekend!!

Jack has always been keen to go to Paris as he has never been and because I had been twice previous I couldn't wait to show him all the sights! I thought about doing this post in two parts as there are a lot of images to share but I decided to put it all in one post and just show my fav images! Now, first thing's first, as you're about to see, I can now cross another thing off my 25 before 25 list!!

That's right! After 7 years Jack asked me to marry him and I said yes!! Although I had a little inkling that it was going to happen I managed to tell myself it wasn't before we went so when he asked I was so shocked and completely taken back! He proposed on Friday 26th which meant we spent the whole weekend engaged, it was perfect! (You'll have to excuse the quality of some of these images as they were taken on my phone!)

Of course we went to all of the famous sights and got way too snap happy but I didn't want to bombard you so I hope you've enjoyed the particular few that I've shared :)

Here's to many more trips to Paris with my fiancé ;)
