As I mentioned in yesterday's post, my life has been a bit of a daze, my mind a little foggy, full of things circling around my head and, for me, sometimes the best thing to do is go for an evening strole. Sometimes getting too caught up in a busy lifestyle and often social media becomes a little too overwhelming and the only way to ease the stress is to get out, and escape for a while.
Tuesday evening it all got a little too much for me and getting out of the house was the best thing to do to clear my mind and think over things. I invited my Dad along too to walk the dog as it's nice to do something different and really enjoy the beautiful scenery together. I am really fortunate to live in an area surrounded by fields and fields of nature. I also live near a pebbly beach which is another great place to go when needing some time alone. I can't imagine not living by the sea.
I personally think that going for a walk, whether it be during the day or early evening, is a great way to clear your thoughts if you're feeling a little overwhelmed by things. It always helps to calm my down and really appreciate my life and surroundings. That may sound cheesy, but it's true. So if you ever feel you need some space then try going for a walk - but always make sure you are safe. Make sure you tell someone where you are going, or take someone with you, and always make sure you take your mobile with you. No matter how down or upset you may be feeling, you must always be safe and protect yourself as much as you can.
